Factory

Our website for SpaceMusic results - look at them in 3D, rate them, and let studio PCs make new ones overnight.

The Factory is our own website for the 3D results that SpaceMusic makes. Every result is a picture tile that you can open in 3D, rate and sort. It also runs automations: one scene with a few settings changed step by step, rendered by studio PCs, mostly overnight (quick tour).

For us: Every export from SpaceMusic lands here by itself. Most work goes round one loop: export, make an automation, let it run tonight, review it in the morning, rate the good ones, start the next automation from the best one. The PCs that do the work run the SpaceMusic Worker (Computers).

Start here

  • Open factory.spacemusic.tv and sign in with the studio login.
  • New here? Read the quick tour: the words, the menu and the loop.
  • The whole Factory on one page: the ecosystem map shows every part, what it does and what it does not do.
  • Every morning: Runs shows what ran last night.

How to

Review last night’s results

  1. Open Runs. The “Last night” card shows what ran, what is new and what failed.
  2. Rate the good ones (1 to 5 stars) and give them a heart.
  3. Details: Review results and 3D view.

Make an automation

  1. Click New automation, the blue button at the top of the menu.
  2. Pick a starting result, a project and what should change.
  3. Pick when: now, tonight (22:00) or a time you choose.
  4. Details: Make an automation.

Delete results, or get them back

  1. In Results, tick the tiles and click Delete in the bar at the bottom.
  2. Undo works for 10 seconds. Recently deleted keeps them for 7 days.
  3. Details: Delete and restore.

Bring in old projects

  1. Click Import old work on the Projects page.
  2. Details: Import old work.

Get the Rhino file of a result

  1. Open the result and click Download > Rhino file (.3dm).
  2. Or find it in Dropbox: project, then automation, then run, then step.
  3. Details: Originals in Dropbox.

Let a PC run Factory jobs

  1. Install the SpaceMusic Worker on it and sign in.
  2. The PC shows up as one card on the Workers page.
  3. Details: Install and set up. Something wrong? Troubleshooting.

Ask Claude

  1. Add the SpaceMusic connector in claude.ai once (how).
  2. Ask in plain words, for example “what is new from last night?”. Claude asks you before it starts anything.
