The studio server is one rented computer in a data centre at Hetzner, a German hosting company. It runs our own online services under addresses ending in spacemusic.tv (repo, docs).
For us: Everything online around SpaceMusic lives here: the Factory, updates, licences, file storage and live streams. It also runs the website editors and Prototypes. You sign in to almost everything with one studio login (Authentik). Every night the server copies itself to a separate Hetzner storage server. Armin Seltz runs the server.

How to
Sign in
- Open any service in the table below.
- It sends you to the studio login (Authentik). Sign in once; the other services then open without a new login.
- Details: SSO. Who is an admin: Sign-in, keys and admins.
Check if something is down
- Open home.spacemusic.tv or uptime.spacemusic.tv to see which services answer.
- For charts of server load, open dashboard.spacemusic.tv. For running services and their logs, open containers.spacemusic.tv.
- To fix it: Runbooks (step-by-step fixes on the server).
Get a lost file or database back
- Follow Backups and restore. The backup runs every night.
Change a service, or add a new one
- A service goes live when you push its
mainbranch: How services deploy. - A new website on the server: Add a new web service.
Get onto the server
- Follow Server access. Login is by SSH key only, no password.
Get the SpaceMusic installer
- Open api.spacemusic.tv and sign in with the studio login.
- Open Applications > SpaceMusic > Releases (admins only) and download the current installer.
